Originally from Chicago, I went to Amherst College. and then pursued my singing passion for several years at the New England Conservatory MM in vocal performance. I later earned an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and have been happily working in private equity for the past 25 years. I have a child in YPC and am thrilled to be singing again!

Lindsay Bogaty

An alumna of Young People’s Chorus of NYC, she has performed in major music venues, in choral concerts and competitions world-wide. She made her Metropolitan Opera debut in 2012 and reprised the role in 2014. Her Carnegie Hall debut was in 2013. She is an events coordinator, vocal instructor and mentor with YPC.
Sophia Brooks

Sophia is originally from Pittsburgh and graduated from Bucknell in 2019. She's been singing since she was a kid and couldn't live without it when she moved to New York! She works on the client services team at a startup and in her free time, she enjoys music (of course), walks around the city, crime podcasts and trying every restaurant possible.

I am the mother of two Young Peoples' Chorus alumni, William and Daniel Cabaniss. I live on the Upper West Side with my husband, the composer Thomas Cabaniss. I am a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who sees patients and teaches psychotherapy at Columbia.

After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2018 (Go Blue!) I moved to New York to work as a research assistant. Since then, I’ve been looking for a way to continue singing. I spend most of my time exploring NYC and hanging out with friends and family!
Diana Daniels

I grew up singing in the Peninsula Girls Chorus and St. Paul's Episcopal Choir in Burlingame, CA. eventually attending Amherst College. I also play many instruments such as oboe, saxophone, guitar, and banjo! I know Spanish, Italian and German and love to keep learning. I just moved to NYC in January so am enjoying exploring the city.
Charlotte Davidson

Charlotte Davidson, Alto 2, was one of the six original members of the Soharmoniums. She works in the state court system and has two college-aged children, one of whom sang with Elizabeth Nunez as a member of the Young People’s Chorus of NYC. A former violinist and pianist, she now mostly sticks to the ukulele.

Originally from Houston, I lived in N.J. for 27 years before relocating to NYC a month before the pandemic started! I’m a retired music therapist and preschool music teacher. My husband and I have 3 grown children, and one2 year old granddaughter. My hobbies include traveling and babysitting. I’m so happy to be joining a choir.

Blair is an Executive Producer of online edutainment content, and lives in New Jersey with her husband and her dog Gizmo. She spent her youth singing in school choirs (she ultimately became the president of her high school choir), and at summer camp where she became a vocal coach and musical director. She's very excited to be back in a choir as an adult!

Hailing from El Paso TX and In/out of NY since 1975, I’ve studied singing since childhood with roles in many operas most notably Madame Butterfly’s CioCio Sun. I was a TWA Flight Attendant until 9/11. Among other groups, I’ve sung in Master Chorale and Collegiate Chorale. I will die singing. I love working crafts and learning to play new instruments. My wife and I have been together 27 years and married for 11.

As a volunteer, I visit political detainees bimonthly and serve on the governing body of Gould Farm, a therapeutic community in western Massachusetts.
